What the animators do at a christening
A christening party has children of all ages and lasts several hours. The animators' programme is made for that: the little ones have their games, the older ones theirs, and everyone has something to do away from the tables.

A children's corner
We agree with the restaurant where the children will be: a table of their own or a free corner of the hall, away from the band's speakers. If the restaurant has a children's room, the programme runs there.

Two animators
Christening parties usually have children from two to ten, so one animator takes the little ones and the other the older ones. That way the games are neither too hard for two-year-olds nor too easy for ten-year-olds.

A show and a mascot
A mascot can welcome the guests at the door, and a bubble show brings all the children together.

Peace at the table
While the children play, the parents can sit at the table in peace, and the godparents and guests can talk. If a child wants their mum, the animator walks them back to the table.
The christening evening, step by step
The programme follows the order of the party, which you agree with the restaurant.

We set the time
We usually come after the first courses, when the children have eaten and are getting bored at the table. Tell us when the cake comes out too, so the games don't clash with it.

Gathering the children
The mascot or character gathers the children from the hall and takes them to their corner. Shy children can join later, once they see the others playing.

Games and a show
The animators run contests by age, dancing and a show, and the children stay in their corner rather than among the adults on the dance floor.

Photos and balloon figures
At the end the children get balloon figures and photos with the characters, and the parents take them back to the table.
What christening party animators cost
All pricesFor a christening people usually choose two animators or the 2-hour party; the mascot is added separately. At a long christening party, the 2-hour party keeps the children busy for a good part of the evening.

Every programme includes the costume, the speaker with music, props, games, the cake moment and balloon figures. Travel within Chișinău and the suburbs is included. Prices valid from November 2026.
A christening at home or at a restaurant
At a restaurant the animators need a free corner of the hall and a socket; our speaker plays quietly so it doesn't clash with the band. Tell us the restaurant's name and we'll agree the details with the manager. A christening brings together the children of the godparents, cousins and friends, who often don't know each other. The animator starts with a getting-to-know-you game, and a few minutes later they're playing together.
At home, for a smaller christening, one or two animators are usually enough, just as for a party at home. If the baby is asleep, the games move to the yard or the furthest room. In summer, at a christening party in the yard or under a marquee, the programme runs outdoors, and a soap bubble show works very well there when it isn't windy.

What is a cumătrie?
In Moldova, a cumătrie is the party after a child's christening, with the godparents and the whole family, usually at a restaurant. The invited children stay for several hours, so an entertainment programme keeps them busy.
How long do the animators stay?
One to two hours, depending on the programme you choose. For long parties, book the 2-hour party with a mascot and a show. If you'd like the animators to stay longer, tell us when you book so we can plan the day.
Do you come to a restaurant outside Chișinău?
Yes. Travel is included in Chișinău and the suburbs; further out we charge it per kilometre and list it separately. You'll know the travel amount before you book.
