The experiments you'll see
The animator picks experiments that look spectacular and does them together with the children, bringing the glassware, the substances and everything else they need; you only prepare a table.
-
Colours that change
A clear liquid turns red, then blue, and the children guess what comes next. They take turns adding a drop and watch the colour change.
-
Smoke and fog
Clouds of fog pour out of glasses and spread across the table, like in a film lab. The fog comes from dry ice, which the children watch up close but don't touch.
-
Giant foam
Coloured foam grows out of a glass and spills over the edges: the children's favourite finale. It stays on a tray, and after the show the animator clears everything away.
-
Children in the lab
Each child comes to the table and does an experiment by hand, under the animator's eye. At the end the children try to explain what happened, and the animator helps them with the answer.
When children are old enough for experiments
1-3 years
For little ones the experiments are too long.
3-7 years
Children aged 5-6 watch, but help less.
7-12 years
At this age the children do the experiments themselves, and the show is built for them.

A science show at home or at school
For the experiments the animator needs a table with a little space around it so every child can see. At home the kitchen table is enough; at a school or kindergarten, a desk at the front of the classroom. The children stand in a semicircle, the smaller ones in front, so everyone can see and reach their own glass when their turn comes.
The science show suits children aged 7-12 best, who ask questions and want to try things themselves. A Minecraft party with a team quest that ends with the experiments works for them too. At a birthday with the whole class, the children come to the table two or three at a time, while the others watch and guess what will happen.
Frequently asked questions
Is the chemistry show safe for children?
Yes: the children only do the simple experiments, under the animator's eye, and the animator does the spectacular ones. The substances stay with the animator, and the children only work with what they're handed. Tell us when you book if any child has allergies.
From what age is the science show?
We recommend it from 7, when children understand what's happening and can help. Children aged 5-6 enjoy watching, but the animator does more of the experiments.
Can the show be held at school?
Yes, at a class party or a pupil's birthday. We need a table and a socket, and the teacher sets the time.
Planning a science birthday?
Send us the date, the age and how many children are coming, and we'll prepare the experiments. The show comes with our animators in Chișinău and the suburbs, at home or at school.
